From 19 to 21 September 2025, Taste France brings “From Farm to Table” to the France Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka – a three-day exhibition exploring the world of French food culture. This immersive installation, created by artist Kentaro Kobuke, draws on his trip across France meeting farmers, livestock breeders and dedicated professionals working in the wheat–flour–bread and beef sectors. Through videos, photographs and original artworks, visitors are invited to embark on a full sensory journey, discovering how French beef and wheat are produced, transformed and celebrated as cultural treasures.
During the event, visitors will be able to enjoy tasting sessions featuring freshly baked bread made from French wheat, accompanied by insights from professionals explaining each stage of its production – from the grain in the field to the baguette on the table. The France Pavilion’s bistro – run by the renowned bakery Maison Kayser – will also serve an exclusive menu prepared with top-quality French beef, available only during these three days… Délicieux !
Artist Kentaro Kobuke will also be present throughout the event, hosting interactive workshops and engaging directly with visitors – a unique opportunity to explore the connection between agriculture, food, art and storytelling in a dynamic, participatory setting.
