Halloween Pumpkin crumble
First of our 3 special french Halloween recipes : our favorite Halloween vegetable gets a grilling...
Wash the pumpkin. Cut it in two and remove the seeds and strings. Without peeling it, cut the pumpkin into slices, not too thin, not too thick. Place them in a mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil, add two to three grinds of pepper and mix with your hands. Lay the pumpkin slices on a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper.
Sprinkle the crumble mix over the pumpkin slices. Bake for 35 minutes. Serve this dish piping hot, straight from the oven.
Dry white wine: Côtes-d’Auvergne, Coteaux-du-Loir or Coteaux-du-Vendômois.
