These Mirabelle Plum & Almond Mini Clafoutis are the perfect last-minute French dessert. Made with sweet, fragrant Mirabelle plums from the Lorraine region of France, they're light, delicate, and incredibly easy to make.

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Wash and half the plums, cut them in half, and remove the pits.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and granulated sugar until smooth. Gradually whisk in the flour and almond flour, mixing well to prevent lumps. Slowly pour in the milk, then stir in the vanilla extract. The batter should be thin and pourable.

Lightly butter 6 to 8 small ramekins or individual baking dishes, depending on their size. Divide the batter evenly among the ramekins, then arrange the Mirabelle plums on top.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are set and lightly golden while the centers still have a slight wobble. The clafoutis will continue to set as they cool.

Let the clafoutis cool for a few minutes before serving. Dust with confectioners' sugar, if desired, and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
